AtGames, a company known for poorly made retro clone consoles (mostly Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Products) has just introduced the Bandai Namco Flashback Blast! A Clone console containing games such as PAC-MAN, Galaga, Dig Dug, Galaxian, and Mappy. The console is a small stick that plugs into the HDMI port of your TV and seems like a great idea, but there is a MAJOR problem. Some versions of the console contain inferior Nintendo Entertainment System versions of these games, while the other version contains the superior arcade versions of these titles. What makes this worse is the box art for both versions of the hardware is identical and do not indicate which games you will be getting. They are also charging the same price for both versions of the console. Scam may seem like a strong word, but i feel like the unethical business practice that AtGames is illustrating here describes the situation perfectly. They never learn from their mistakes and NOW they are BLOCKING PEOPLE on Twitter for criticizing their products.
