Hey, I’m DJ tutor Phil Morse of DJ school Digital DJ Tips and this is my weekly vlog, sharing my journey as I make “The Complete DJ Course”, the most ambitious DJ tutorial course Digital DJ Tips has ever offered its students.
It is going to take nine months and I’m going to vlog every week with my best tips from the week’s filming – little secrets, nuggets and surprising insights that can help any DJ get better.
As well as these “insider DJing tips” for anyone who wants to learn to DJ, I want you to have a FREE download of my book “Rock The Dancefloor!”, which is perfect if you want to know how to DJ and how to mix but don’t know where to start – follow the steps above to get yours.
Y’know, I was speaking to a superstar/pro DJ the other day who loves to teach as well, and he was telling me that he’s amazed how many bright and successful people who want to be DJs forget everything they’ve learned in their lives and work lives so far when they start out DJing!
He was saying that he’s tried to help lots of people become DJs, but finds that while they may have worked hard every day on a career, or a family, or starting a business, as soon as they decide they want to DJ, all that sensible stuff about planning and hard work and commitment and baby steps goes out the window.
Instead, they just mix like crazy, tell everyone they’re a DJ… and wonder why the years go by and nothing’s gone right for them.
But it isn’t like that out there AT ALL – and so if you want to know some of the secrets of how DJs really get successful, grab the book, and give me five minutes a week – we’ll get you pointing in the right direction!
